God knows you have critical matters to tend to. You do not have to pretend with Him, nor try to hide the truth from Him. He
knows you are just a 911 call away! He knows our state of mind and that
is why he is always encouraging us in Scripture. In spite of your
dilemma, He says, “It’s not over until I say it’s over.” In taking
inventory you do it because you do not wish to run out of anything that
will be needed for your journey. You may be running a little low on
faith (Hebrews 11:1). God can restore that. You may be short on joy
(Psalms 51:12) God can give you joy! You may be taking
things too fast (Exodus 14:13). God can insist that you ‘fear ye not,
stand still and see the salvation of the Lord.’ God can take everything
you have lost-your joy, faith, and time – and bring you right up to
date as though it never happened.
After
taking inventory of your life, whatever you have left God can use it.
When the Apostle Paul had gone through his storm, the ship was torn to
pieces. All he had left was a board, but the board got him safely to the
shores of deliverance. The Apostle John said…..After this I
looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice
which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said,
Come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter (Rev. 4:1)
Saints
this is a new year. God has blessed us to enter into this open door of
2014. Some of you have a story to tell, a testimony to give, a book to
write. Refuse to die until you have fulfilled your dream. Keep walking
with God, for you ‘shall not die, but live, and declare the works of
God.” (Psalm 118:117)
