Flying while moving slowly

Have you asked God for something and when it appears, you just stand still? You decide that whatever it is does not look, smell, feel, or taste like how you thought it would? For example: You wanted a better and you get an offer, but you have to move to another state. Or you ask for love and you find it when someone of a different race or ethnic background.

If it isn't what you thought your answered prayer would look like, what do you do? Do you thank God graciously and ask Him to send you something else? Do you dare ask Him to send you the thing exactly the way you imagined it even though you know God only wants the best for you?

Would you be willing to step out on faith and accept the thing even if it means moving outside of your comfort zone? Or do you just stay where you are and complain?

"Do not ask the Lord to guide your footsteps if you are not willing to move!"
