Flying looking at the wrong door, a re-post

 Brennan Ehrhardt

There is always an open door. It is not always easy to see. Sometimes it is hidden within the maze. It can be camouflaged with thorns. Other times it is in plain sight. A lot of the time we can't see it because we don't want it. We want to stay in the door where we are even when it has slammed on our fingers.

The key is to look for it once the door we are standing in has closed. There is no shame in the realization that things did not work out regardless of what those things are. We cannot have everything. We can have better things, but we must be willing to let go and move on.

When one door closes another door opens;
but we so often look so long and so regretfully upon the closed door,
that we do not see the ones which open for us.
