Flying while supporting moms

I ran a 5K over the weekend with my sister and some friends. It was the first time in a very long time. It was tough. It was fun. It was inspiring. I was blessed to win 3rd place in my age group and that was a first.

What was more of a win was being at the finish line cheering and dancing while watching others cross the finish line.

The profits from this run go towards helping women with postpartum depression. While I am not a mother I can appreciate the need for assistance.

Seeing moms of all shapes, sizes, and colors was amazing. A few of the moms with double strollers flew past me like I was standing still and I am not mad at them! There were men there as well and some of them were pushing strollers.

Sometimes the best thing you can do for yourself is do something for someone else.

What can you do for someone today?
