I really love this website. So today I decided to share thoughts about being thankful. I am not sure why it is sometime easier to be angry, depressed, or miserable instead of simply being thankful. Being thankful does not mean that everything is just fine. It does not mean that we are content. It just means that despite the challenges, obstacles, heartaches, and disappointments; we still remember to be thankful for what is going right-no matter how small those things may seem. It also means that we should be available to be there for others no matter how bleak our own lives seem.
Being thankful and showing gratitude just may alter the way we see our circumstances.
When we are able to be thankful for what we have…truly thankful,
not just words we recite but a feeling of thanks from within, our
world outlook changes.
Consider the word “being”. It is a verb, an action word. When we
are in the action of being it is something we are and all the
characteristics associated with what we are “being” apply.
