Flying while wait, a re-post

I keep writing about waiting for my THING to happen. I want to assure people that by waiting I do not mean that I am sitting on my hands twiddling my thumbs. Waiting does not mean stopping. Waiting implies having patience, something that I thought I had very little of until I read the quote below:

Patience is waiting. Not passively waiting. That's laziness. But to keep going when the going is hard and; slow that's patience.

We have all wandered slowly through things in our lives and will again. Just remember that in the midst of all of those things, we are developing patience and are getting closer and closer to our THINGS. And now I think my THING is just around the corner even though it does not look exactly like I thought it would. I will be grateful for the opportunity to expand my territory.
