Flying when you crash, a re-post sort of

When did we learn that we should be perfect at everything? When did the fear of being the best or not getting it right trump that act of trying? When are we supposed to learn the lessons that lead to being successful if we don't practice or make mistakes?

We cannot succeed at everything. There will be times that when we think we should be soaring we aren't. Sometimes it is because of something we did or did not do. Other times is it because of something else. The key is not to brand ourselves by our disasters. The key is to make an honest attempt, assess the outcome, and do it again. We should not label ourselves or others by the attempts that did not win medals.
