Flying while losing

Losing can be a good thing. A sister girlfriend told me that as we travel the road to success in life, there will be times when things and people no longer accompany on your journey. That does not mean that what you leave behind or what leaves you were bad things. It just means that they served their purpose and now we must be open minded to accept the changes. Try not to spend too much time holding on to things that just don't fit anymore. Let them go so that they may be useful to someone else. That is not always easy, especially when we have no idea what the future holds. Different jobs require different clothes, old boyfriends make space for new ones, and the cycle continues. Just think of it as getting rid of excess baggage or excess weight!

The following comes from an unnamed source:

When God takes something from your grasp, He's not punishing you, but
merely opening your hands to receive something better. Concentrate on
this sentence..... 'The will of God will never take you where the Grace
of God will not protect you.' Something good will happen to you today.
Get lighter so that you may be ready for the better things in your life today.

Lord knows too many of us are bag ladies. My nephew used to always tell me, "Let it go, so you can grow!" :-)

Jacqueline, you are so right. There are so many things that stunt our growth and enjoyment in life. Many of those things we allow to suck us into a vortex. It is empowering and often painful to just say NO and move on. I love your nephew's saying. That is going on my bathroom mirror!
