BUILD YOUR HOUSE ON THE ROCK
And the rain fell,

And the floods came,
And the winds blew and beat on that house…but
IT DID NOT FALL, because it had been founded on the rock. (Matthew 5:24-27)
In this life, rain will fall, and the wind will blow and it will beat upon your house. One thing is sure it will eventually happen to all of us. These verses are from the Sermon on the Mount in Matthew 5, where Jesus and his disciples came and where Jesus sat down and seeing the crowds he began to speak. This speaks to me as He truly needing us to understand some things, because he sat down in order to get your attention. He needed all eyes and all ears to tune into these great teachings in this chapter. "When Jesus had finished saying these things, the crowds were amazed at His teaching, because He taught as one who had authority, and not as their teachers of the law." May we all continue to be amazed at His teaching and follow the principles that He taught in the Sermon on the Mount!
Everyone who hears these words of mine and does them will be like a wise man who built his house on the rock. That Rock is - Jesus Christ.
