Double high five to all of those who dared run the Divas half marathon yesterday. There are no losers. There are only sheros. The race times are not as important as the overall accomplishment of daring to run. For some it was as simple as putting one foot in front of the other for 13.1 miles. For others it is much more complicated and a bit more challenging. For all, it was a culmination of sweat equity. Job well done ladies. Job well done.
I learned patience, perseverance, and dedication. Now I really know myself, and I know my voice. It's a voice of pain and victory.
