Flying with General Ann E. Dunwoody
FINALLY! The nation has finally seen the light and promoted a woman to a FOUR STAR general! General Dunwoody will command Army Materiel Command, responsible for equipping, arming and outfitting soldiers. She will have about 130,000 soldiers under her command. Defense Secretary Robert Gates called her one of the best military logisticians. Let's hope this is just the beginning of more qualified and competent women soaring into positions of great leadership. We know they are out there!
