Flying in uncertain times

We all face uncertain times. Those times are not ever fun. They are designed to challenge us and make us see the world a tiny bit different. We should not run away from the unknown. We do not have to enter that territory alone. The key is to trust in your faith fully knowing that God (or whatever you call the Universe) is working for your infinite good.

It is also good to surround yourself with people who love you and who will be on your side when things get rough. Pay attention to the lessons that are placed before you during this time and share that wisdom with others. Pay attention to the lessons that are shared by others. Experiences are the best teachers, however those experiences do not have to be yours.

What uncertainty are you facing or have faced? What are the lessons you have learned? What lessons were shared by others and which ones did you share?

I never appreciated 'positive heroes' in literature. They are almost always cliches, copies of copies, until the model is exhausted. I prefer perplexity, doubt, uncertainty, not just because it provides a more 'productive' literary raw material, but because that is the way we humans really are.
