Flying while waiting

I mentioned a while ago that my THING is not coming. And I sort of decided that maybe it really wasn't my THING after all. I had a meeting with my boss yesterday. He expressed a strong desire to see me take on more responsibility and utilize my leadership skills to help him and the business more. I am good at what I do and it feels good to be appreciated. So for now, right where I am is my THING. I need to focus on that, yet be open when something else comes along.
