Flying trying to get it right

Lately I have been wondering about the stuff in my life. My prayer has been pretty constant. It is very similar to the one below. It is comforting to know that I am not the only one wondering around trying to figure stuff out at my age. I guess we all need a little help. Some of us more than others. I know that I should stand still and allow God to move more, but that is so hard.

"NO MORE SHEETS"

Lord, show me what is in
my heart, soul, mine, spirit,
and life that shouldn't
be there.
Teach me what I am not
understanding.
Convict me where I am missing
the mark. Tear down
my arrogance, pride, fear, and
insecurities, and help me
to see the truth about
myself, my life and
my circumstances.
Expose me to myself, Lord.
I can take it.
Enable me to correct the error
of my ways.
Help me to replace lies with
truth and make changes
that last.
