Right on time my sistergirlfriend Michelle Cooper sent me this text: “Thou knowest my downsitting and mine uprising, thou understandest my thought afar off". Psalms 139:2. So God is paying attention. Things are in motion. I just need to keep doing my best. And truthfully that is all I needed to hear. I know that everyday challenges arise. Some much larger than others.
But when I look up at the sky (usually before dawn) I am in awe of the majesty set before me. And when I take the time to look around and to notice the every day miracles I am grateful. I must remember that my miracles are usually not the huge splashy ones, but generally the quiet ones. The ones that are often missed while looking for the grandiose. You know like the stars twinkling, the lone flower that has pressed through the sidewalk, a bird chirping in the frost. Stuff like that and there is always stuff like that when you take the time to look.
Anyway, it is okay that I feel small right now. I have feel immense before and I am sure I will again. There is much going on around me and for me. And I am grateful for the unknown because it will be revealed to me in time.
