Flying with a word from Brenda Smith

This is not from Thursday's Word. I 'borrowed' if from Brenda's Facebook page. 

Sitting in the breakroom eating lunch and Sam says..."Brenda, I see you are using a highlighter on your paper. Are you highlighting things you want to forget or things you wish to remember?"

I said .... "Remember." God has highlighted things in our lives already that we have yet to achieve, take hold of, or even possess. He has taken the time in each of our lives and 'highlighted' the good things that will bless us. When we get there we will have a reason to celebrate. I'm going to thank Him right now for the wonderful 'highlights' that are in store for me. 

I needed to hear this today Lord, thank you!!!!

I also needed to hear this. I have been focusing much too  much on what is yet to come some times to the point of becoming very anxious losing sleep. And I know better, but I do it anyway. Crazy, I know. I  need much more prayer, meditation, and probably yoga in my life.
