But, be aware
of one thing. "If the world hates you, you know that it hated Me before
it hated you (John 15:8). The opposition to the teachings of Jesus
eventually led to His death. He warned Christians that we would be hated
beause we are teaching the same things He taught and because of the
"teachers," "pastors," theologians," and many who support them will come
against you. There are plenty of people who have no interest in the
truth and will do anything in their power to squash the "rebellion." We
must make a choice. Once we are presented with the truth, we can either
stay quiet in silence or be a "fish out of water" and trust your God
when those around you choose not to.
IT HAS BEEN SAID:
If you do good, people will accuse you of selfish ulterior motives. Do good anyway.
If you are successful, you will win false friends and true enemies. Succeed anyway.
The good you do today will be gone tomorrow. Do good anyway.
The biggest people with the biggest ideas can be shot down by the smallest people with the smallest minds. Think Big anyway.
People favor underdogs but follow top dogs. Fight for some underdogs anyway.
People are unreasonable, illogical and self-centered. Love them anyway.
Living a
Christian life may not be easy all the time. When you are teaching and
preaching and ministering God-ordained truths to a world that does not
wish to hear truth, it can be hard. But Jesus never promised us a rose
garden, you have to have some thorns sometimes. The Way has been made.
God will provide you with people who are willing to stand beside you in
times of trouble. Pastor Ray says becoming a Christian is as easy as the
ABCs
1. Admit that you are a sinner.
2. Believe that Jesus died on the cross for your sins.
3. Confess with your mouth that you wish to be baptized in Jesus. Say "Yes" to the Lord and "No" to the devil.
Because we have God's GRACE - HE has made it easy for us to live this Christian live. Let us set out and start living it today!
