Flying with peace, part 3

We can't have the Peace of God until we have Peace with God. Borrowing from one of Pastor Ray's sermons where he explained this very thing to our congregation. If we are fighting with God and resisting His plan and purpose for our lives...then we won't experience this supernatural peace. Many people crave peace, want peace, desire peace, but they are not willing to do what it takes to ensure peace. They want the good benefits that peace brings, but want it without having to do the work.  We all want to be forgiven and to say we are going to heaven when we die, but there is much work to be done right here before that happens. We can't live as we please: mistreating people, not forgiving, not studying the Word, not attending Church, not praising God, not loving our fellow man.....yet we are ready to go to heaven.   We have to drop that attitude and readjust our thinking to meet God's requirements in order to have peace.   Peace is not unreal. We can have peace in this world provided we allow God to indwell in us. The God of peace is within you!

 

 

TO KNOW GOD ... IS TO KNOW PEACE
