I WALKED A MILE WITH PLEASURE,
SHE CHATTED ALL THE WAY.

God
is at work in your life. Right now, you are rough and uncut, and God is
patiently chipping away at you. But remember this: He will never
intentionally hurt you. In the end, you will look like the Lord Jesus
Christ. Nothing happens to us outside his control. There are no
mistakes and no surprises. The remaining part of the Scripture in Romans
8:28 is "those who love God, who have been called according to his
purpose. This verse is true to Christians and a promise to make his
children one day like his Son. God has called each of us to a divine
plan and a divine purpose in life. God sees the whole pattern of His
providence while we see only a small part of it. In such cases, there is
no alternative to trusting the goodness and wisdom of the Sovereign
Ruler of the Universe.
