The Alabama Crimson Tide won the SEC championship on Saturday. I learned something from that game. I learned the words to and the meaning of the song "Rammer Jammer Yellow Hammer, Give 'em hell, Alabama". Yes, I went to Bama and yes, I sung that song (with the wrong words).
The Rammer Jammer was an old campus magazine at the school and the yellow hammer is the state bird of Alabama. Who knew?
The moral of the story is that seeming silly things can have real meaning and it's okay if you don't understand it!

For a very long time, no one told African American women that they could fly, so there are very few of them as commercial pilots. This website is for inspiring women to fly.
