Flying like a banshee

I have been saying that I need to stop eating like a banshee. Then I realized that I do not know what a banshee is, it just sounded good. Well, I looked it up. A banshee is a ghost, a spirit of the dead. That is so not what I thought it was. So, I have not been eating like a banshee. At least I don't think I have since spirits don't eat, do they? Interesting. I need to pick a better word. Perhaps 'pig' or 'horse' would fit. Bummer, because I really like the sound of the word banshee. I just cannot think of a sentence to use it in. Oh well.

Are you running around spouting off words that have an entirely different meaning that what you thought? Surely I am not the only one.
