On March 21, 2009 Charleston, SC will hold its 1st Stiletto Stampede. It is a 100 yard dash that is run in at least 3 inch heels. The race will be highlighted by Charleston Fashion Week and Charleston Magazine, and Skirt. The proceeds will benefit MUSC Children’s Hospital and their aspirations.
I think it will be fun and I am trying to round up all of my fashion forward friends to join me. Since I work at at chemical manufacturing plant, I hardly ever pull out the heels. I did buy a great part of grey kick ass boots that I might wear. I just hope there is adequate medical staff available. I can see lots of twisted ankles ahead.
Congrats to whoever thought about and planned this event. If nothing else, it will be a great fashion show.

For a very long time, no one told African American women that they could fly, so there are very few of them as commercial pilots. This website is for inspiring women to fly.
