Flying with water

I did not give up anything for Lent this year. I added something. I added water. Yes, that is right water. Plain ole water. Tap water mostly but I won't turn down a bottle especially if it's sparkling. 

I made a vow to drink at least eight 8 ounce glasses a day and have been averaging at least ten. It makes me feel better. It makes stuff 'move' better and that is always a good thing. 

I heard that my body is at least 75% water and that water is needed to keep it functioning well. And I have not been very good at drinking water so I gave myself that task for Lent. So far I have not fallen short of my goal. And that makes me smile. It's the little things. The free things and the healthy things.
