Flying towards the other side

Griffin Keller
There are times when the battle seems endless. You are told to keep your head up, keep moving, never let them see you sweat, and several other platitudes. This usually comes at the time you are ready to run and hide. This is the time when getting to the other side seems so daunting and your emotions are so fragile that you could snap in two at any moment. And if you are like me, you would rather do that in the comfort of your own house perhaps buried under the covers of your bed.

Even if it takes all that you have to make it through the next hour, celebrate that as a success because it is. Do what you need to do to make it to the other side as long as it is legal and does not hurt anyone including yourself. Remember to ask for help when you need it. And offer it without judgment or sarcasm. Only lend what you can afford to never get back  no matter how soon the person claims to be able to pay it back.

Also remember to breathe and learn whatever lessons are along the way.
