Flying while motivating other, sort of a re-post

A hard lesson to learn is that not everyone wants to better his/her situation. Yes, it is sad but true. Many people are happy being right where they are even though they will complain all of the time. Improvement generally means work, and work is not fun. Also, there is a fear element in stepping out of your comfort zone to do better. There are increased expectations when we increase our lives.

Just do not take it personally when someone you are trying to help, isn't interested. Or doesn't show up to events, meetings, or just doesn't take your advice. I am learning this over and over again because I just don't understand. But the beauty of it is that I do not have to understand. I just need to keep sharing the wisdom and know that the people who need it will hear it.

You cannot push anyone up the ladder unless he is willing to climb.
