Flying with the choice to vote w/Brenda Smith

Lately I have been hearing people say that they will not vote that God's Will will be done and that the bible says not to vote. I am not a bible scholar nor will I debate what your religion tells you to do or not do regardless of my opinion. So I will simply say, VOTING IS OUR RIGHT, MANY MANY PEOPLE HAVE DIED FOR US TO HAVE THAT RIGHT.  

Okay, I am done and am loving what my dear sistergirlfriend Brenda Smith wrote about that same issue.  Thank you for saying it in a way that I did not.

We were having a conversation over lunch today and the question, of course, came up about voting. The question was simple...Have you voted? One lady said..."No...I have not voted and not sure if I will. I am voting for Jesus." Here we go...My reply..."I can appreciate that, BUT Jesus Christ is not running for the Presidency of the United States of America." The choices for the 2 candidates have already been made." "Jesus Christ holds one of the highest offices in the universe....he is seated on the right of His Father in Heaven" He is looking down and observing all things. His question may very well be to you..."You had an opportunity to change things..why didn't you?" GO VOTE PEOPLE - IT'S YOUR CHOICE!!
