Flying with good news from Cookie on the last Thursday of the year

This is a wonderful story to remind us that hope is eternal. Cookie's car was stolen last year and it was recovered! Prayer and good friends helped her thorugh the ordeal and to victory.

Dear Friends,

I am writing so I do not have to tell this story 20 more times, though this is a story I will not mind telling... or shouting joyfully from the roof tops!

My Prodigal Golden Volvo, has returned! I picked my baby up today from Rumphs Volvo on Romney St. Mr Rumph had to only make minor repairs to my darling car and all is well. Wednesday morning I will go to the DMV and get new tags. They were taken... I need 2 new lights, my car needs a bath and a smudging,

First let me thank you all for your amazing love and concern. I really am so blessed by dear friends who are family!

Even with having my car "napped" friends like you made this really one of my best holidays ever.

My car was stolen Nov 15th from outside my studio. It is an almost 20 year old Volvo, golden. I love it...but someone needed it more than i did Thanksgiving week.

Please continue to pray for the person(s) who took my car. No one takes other people's stuff unless they are having a real negative vibration day.

So, after praying again for the "car-nappers" please help me rejoice!

How cool is this?!?

I get to Rumph's tonight and I am so happy to see my little car. I love it and I am so grateful she has come home, and I will never take her for granted again!

I look in the seats, and here what was in the car, on the front seat both on my pairs of gloves, one hot pink and one pair black.

Some tools. all my important car papers...

On the back seat was only 2 umbrellas. I have this umbrella, with an Erte print on it. IT is totally irreplaceable... and it was on the back seat.

No hat boxes, no beautiful wicker basket filled with handbags... no display things, bought for me by a dear friend.

But then I go look in my trunk...

And there in my trunk is a Rubbermaid container with some of my best handbag designs for the season!...

Not dirty, not touched... SAFE!

How cool is that!

Here are a couple of things that I learned,

1. your car will or will not come home by itself. An anonymous tip was phoned in to the PD to tell them where my car was. Neither North Charleston or Charleston City was out looking for it.

2. Do not watch Law & Order or NCIS and think that your local law officers care that much about car-napping. They told me they do not. They did not even dust my car for finger prints. But it is okay because the Universe knew where my car was all the time!

3. You can be borne around on a golden cloud of love if you are lucky enough to have friends like I do.

4. Just when you stumble and forget the reason for living, you get a lesson, little or BIG to remind you of what is real and important. (LOVE & JOY & PEACE)

5. Sometimes letting go is the only way to get something back you value; your car, your self esteem, your sanity, your grounding.

6. Even when someone or something is far away, they are never out of your heart unless you remove them. MLB

You guys rock my world. Thank you!

I love you all.

Thank you for being there,

Cookie
