Flying with your true self

Is it easy for you to blend in? Can you bend and twist and fit into every situation? Doesn't that make you tired? Does that make your friends and family wonder who you really are?

Perpetrating a fraud gives me a headache. I do not know where the line between compromise and self denial ends. So, I tend to err on the side of stubbornness. It does not always solve my problem and sometimes it even makes it worse. What can I say, I am a work in progress and I realize I have much too learn.

One thing I know for sure is that if I cannot sleep after making a decision, it is the wrong decision and there is rarely any compromise in that. I have to be me and take the consequences.

It's better to be hated for who you are, than loved for what you're not.

Wow, I love this post! YES! It takes so much more to be who you are not than to be who you really are...

Plus, God has created you to be YOU for His glory! When you become someone else, you dishonor His creative power...

Thanks for the reminder!
