Every now and then my brother surprises me when he actually says something profound. It makes me realize that he is actually a man with life experience instead of just my little brother. He wrote this (it might be on his blog, but I caught it on Twitter).
Maybe not super...maybe not heroes...but we gotta remember we're all super to someone. As long as that someone still has faith and believes in us...we still hold the power...and with power comes responsibility. We have to hold our heads up and keep trying.

For a very long time, no one told African American women that they could fly, so there are very few of them as commercial pilots. This website is for inspiring women to fly. Flying being defined as succeeding. Succeeding defined however you decide. We are simply here to tell you sistergirlfriend, YOU CAN FLY!
