Reverend Margaret Towner was the 1st female ordained in the Presbyterian Church in the United States of America! She never planned to become ordained. When she graduated from Union Seminary in New York, she became an educator because women could not be ordained in the early 1950's. Members of her home church persuaded her to seek ordination and history was made.

For a very long time, no one told African American women that they could fly, so there are very few of them as commercial pilots. This website is for inspiring women to fly.
