October 24th was Belva Lockwood's birthday. She was the 1st woman admitted to the Bar of the U.S. Supreme Court! She was refused admittance to the Columbia College of Law because she was a woman. She graduated from National University Law School and had to make an appeal to President Grant to get her degree. She also ran for president in 1884!
This was truly a woman ahead of her time. She was flying high. So, what is it that is holding you back? Are you waiting for someone else to be the first? Are you waiting for permission, acknowledgement, or encouragement. Stop waiting, start flying. You will be amazed at what happens when you begin your journey, it's called success!
