Nancy Green was the first woman to portray Aunt Jemima. She was a Black storyteller and one of the first black corporate models in the United States. The famous Aunt Jemima recipe was not her recipe but she became the advertising world's first living trademark. Miss Green was born a slave in Montgomery County, Kentucky.

For a very long time, no one told African American women that they could fly, so there are very few of them as commercial pilots. This website is for inspiring women to fly.
