Flying with Annika Sorenstam

This is the first post in a series that will feature women flying high in the world of sports. Read more about them at http://msn.foxsports.com/horseracing/pgStory?contentId=9585936&Gt1=39002#sport=MLB&photo=9584140

Annika Sorenstam

Sorenstam was the No. 1 women's golfer in the world when she accepted an invitation to play in the PGA Tour's Bank of America Colonial tournament in Fort Worth, Texas, in 2003. She became the first woman to play in a PGA event since Babe Didrickson Zaharias qualified for the Los Angeles Open in 1945.

After shooting a one-over-par 71 in the first round, Sorenstam shot four over in the second, missing the cut. "I gave it all," she said. "I tried. I gave everything I had."
