Flying with patience

If you are like me, you are still waiting for your THING to happen. I have been working on developing patience for a very long time. I am not quite there all of the time, but I have gotten better. This is my favorite scripture on the matter. It reminds me that I am not in control, that I do not have all of the answers, and that my way is perhaps not the best way.

But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.

James 1:4

I also like this verse.

For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

Jeremiah 29:11
