Our family had a simil...Enjoyed the blog about Amy. Our family had a similar person in it. His desire, beyond being a female in a male body, was to be a minister. He had a choice back in the 1950s to either come out that he was gay or stay closeted and preach in a field where people were homophobic. He chose to follow his calling. If I could go back to that time, I would have advised him to be an <br />independent minister, rent him a building, start his own church, abandon the closet, and be all that he could be.
