Flying in adversity, a re-post sort of

Marco sama
Life is full of ups and downs. Sometimes the downs seem so huge that it is difficult to remember the ups. We must not lose faith or focus. It is in the darkest of hours that we become afraid. It is also during those hours that we see ourselves for who we really are.

Dark clouds come and eventually the sun comes out. I know. It gets difficult at times. That is what is supposed to make us stronger. Sometimes I feel stronger and sometimes I do not.

Perhaps it is a matter of perspective, how we look at things. You know, the rose colored glasses. I do not have a pair, but I could use one from time to time.

What adversity have you gone through? How has it formed you?

Adversity is like a strong wind.  It tears away from us all but the things that cannot be torn, so that we see ourselves as we really are.
